Massage Then and Now

The physical and emotional benefits of massage have been well-documented. Massage treatments have been used to promote wellbeing for centuries and there are records of massage being a regular practise in the treatment of the body in China, ancient Greece and the the Roman empire long before the birth of Christ. In our own time, the special benefits that different massage treatments have to offer can make a great difference to our quality of life.

About Me

I studied for my first massage qualification, remedial massage, in 1989, with the Northern Institute of Massage. Learning about Aromatherapy was a natural progression and I received my diploma in Holistic Aromatherapy in 1995, from the London School of Aromatherapy.

I gained experience with many different clients over the years of practice, and in 2008 I decided to extend my range of treatments to Indian Head Massage. I took the diploma course at Castle College, Nottingham. In 2010 I again extended my range of treatments by learning a specialised massage for the face at a Gateway workshop - natural facelift massage.

I am committed to further learning and professional development.
